Incredible fold out sleeve, barely played vinyl!!

Hawkwind's Space Ritual (financed by a fluke hit single "Silver Machine") tour roared through Britain and the US (circa 1973) in all its psychedelic glory. It's an experience captured on disc to deliriously grand effect! With a sound finding itself in a netherworld between early Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath, Hawkwind blew minds everywhere it went with a lavish extravaganza of lights, chattering electronics, sci-fi poetry, Stacia's exotic dancing, sci-fi and fantasy tales with charmingly goofy lyrics (see "Orgone Accumulator" for example, with such lines as "It's no social integrator, it's a one-man isolator" and "Turns eyeballs into craters") relentlessly rocking and crunchy riffing, disembodied woodwinds bleating and blatting happily away and certifiable sci-fi nutcase Robert Calvert lending his poetic talents to the proceedings.
This album is still a mind blower and frankly if you're a Hawkwind fan who does not own this meisterwork on vinyl you owe it to yourself to purchase a copy! Not only does the stunning artwork complete the picture but sonically this first pressing knocks the CD versions into deep space. This is a beautiful copy. The vinyl still has a an amazing lustre and has obviously only had a handful of plays as there is very little surface noise and absolutely no distortion even on extremely loud playback - using the RRPG as my reference I would rate it as being in EXCELLENT condition. The sleeve is in brilliant condition: clean, crisp, vibrant colours do full justice to the amazing graphics and the inner sleeves are in incredible EXCELLENT + condition. Likewise the labels are in MINT condition, almost factory fresh!!!
If you've been looking for a really superb example of this album you'll be hard pressed to surpass this copy.
