Vinyl still has sheen and plays through with no skips, sticks or jumps and strong audio. There is clusters of hairlines throughout under the lamp indicative of the culture of the time and how much this will have been played hence its almost impossible to find a mint one that isn’t absolutely crazy money. Clusters of thin wispy surface throughout however there is nothing feel able with some surface present also with light scuffs. Audio remains strong throughout a testament to the quality of early pressings. Labels are clean and complete with no stickers or writing and some light tainting and light spindle wear to the centres. Plain white inner sleeve, HAWKWIND log book is complete with no rips and age related yellowing present. Outer fold out sleeve has a small tear to front sleeve taped which is visible in pictures. The spine is readable however there is scuffs to the corners and wear around the edges. No stickers or writing though and folds out completely as it originally did. Some surface marks and surface creases study the pictures for your opinion of gradings there are a lot worse out there.

All records are properly play tested through headphones unless otherwise stated or still sealed.. All vinyl is also inspected under a bright halogen lamp and carefully graded.. I use the standard U.K. record collector grading system appreciating that opinions differ.. I never add more than one + or - to my gradings and never grade a record as M unless it’s bought new by myself and still sealed. Even then an M graded record is extremely rare in anyone’s grading system.

Vinyl is graded first then outer / inner sleeves, posters inserts etc. Vinyl is always separated from sleeve in transit. Record will come in a polythene protective sleeve with a new anti static inner sleeve when the inner is printed or a new one is required. Posted with two record stiffeners in sturdy vinyl mailer. Vinyl is always posted signed for, insured with proof of postage also retained. Any international postage is also always signed for, tracked and with healthy insurance.

Vinyl can be combined, up to three thin spine or two wide spine per mailer. Spine size is generally stated in my listings to give buyers an idea of potential postage combining. I always provide new mailers / packing material etc. If you wish to combine postage please just drop me a mail stating your intentions thank you..

Not a minter however with strong audio and there is a lot worse copies out there and still a must for any HAWKWIND fans collection. Excellent album the real origins of space rock growing out of their second release.
