This month we are offering a very special series of Persian classical music recorded and released in Iran before the revolution, some of them carried out by commercial local companies and some of them carried out by the cultural department of the Shah's government. The LP format never gained popularity in Iran; even the most popular musicians rarely released LPs and they did in limited quantities, let alone intellectual classical music like this. If you add today's facts in mind, you'll have an understanding of how difficult to find these very precious records, hence their values.
