HAYDN Columbia SAX 5266 - OTTO KLEMPERER, Featuring Symphony No. 100 in G (Military) and Symphony No. 102. in B Flat - The new Philharmonc Orchestra. RED Columbia label. Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve. This is a 1966 recording and is offered in exceptionally good condition.
I would grade as follows:
The VINYL appearance 9/10
The AUDIO presentation - SIDE ONE 9/10 / SIDE TWO 9/10
The Outer SLEEVE 9/10
The original Inner SLEEVE 8/10
DESCRIPTION:
THE VINYL playing surfaces are 'like new' shiny with NO surface marks and MINIMAL spindle location marks. The very clean and undamaged centre labels have minimal stylus location marks on either side. On both sides the audio is excellent - loud and clear.
THE OUTER SLEEVE is intact with no creases, no splits, no writing and no signs of it being handled. It has always been stored upright in a cellophane outer sleeve.
The MAIN sleeve is intact with very little wear along its open edge. The spine is in excellent condition with NO SPLITS and very square edges. The unlaminated reverse side (see pic) is clean and white with no handling marks. Exceptional after 50 years! So a very good sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE (Patents Applied for) is the original 'EMITEX' style polylined sleeve with a die-cut centre and the text is light green. Apart from some light creasing to one corner it is in FANTASTIC ORIGINAL condition.
Please note - I have play tested this vinyl prior to listing and I HAVE TRIED TO BE AS GENUINELY HONEST AS POSSIBLE in preparing this listing and have described it in the best way I could. Overall, this a super album of music with very few things to spoil the overall package.
