Description
This LP is a great prog psych album.
It's entitled 'Haystacks Balboa' by a fine American prog psych band called Haystacks Balboa. It is on the UK Polydor Select label and was released in 1970 and the catalogue number is 2489 002. It is becoming very rare now, especially as a UK pressing.
This is a lovely recording and the music combines hard driving rock with some more melodic moments.
OUTER SLEEVE - The sleeve which is laminated on both sides is in great condition. There is almost no wear on the front, rear, edges and spine. There is some very minor wear on the front and back but this is hardly noticeable. I've graded the sleeve Ex+.
INNER BAG - This is a plain white diecut paper type .
RECORD - The record is in fine condition. It looks very clean and shiny and appears to have been played only a few times. There are some very superficial marks on either side which do not affect the quality. It plays very well on both sides with some minor surface noise and some occasional pops and clicks on both sides. These blemishes do not detract from the overall quality of record. There are no jumps on any of the tracks on either side. I've graded the record as Ex+.
LABELS - The labels are the usual UK red Polydor type with black and white wording. The matrix numbers on the run-off grooves are - side one - 2482030 (2489002) A//1V420 11 (stamper 2) - side two - 2482030 (2489002) B//1V420 11 (stamper 2).
I try to grade everything very conservatively and I believe that the winner of this auction will not be disappointed. I guarantee everything I sell. It will be difficult to find this first pressing again in such beautiful condition.
