Released in 1971 on the Trailer Records Label founded in 1969 by Bill Leader, Engineer & Producer, to focus on the folk revival scene. This copy has the early Red Label with Silver Lettering.    Identification is as follows :-  Matrix /Runout (Stamped) :- Side A LER 3016 A - 2 G : Side B LER 3016 B - 1 G

The Record is graded between Excellent (EX) to Very Good (VG)  But could qualify higher. There is no hole deteration.There are no surface marks or scuffs on either of the faces The Label Information is perfect.  In fact this record has been played less that 20 times since purchase & is in excellent condition for its 50 years of age.
The Cover is in Very Good (VG) condition with some hardly noticible ring wear on the faces & some hearline cresing as shown The spine is not split. 
The Paper Sleeve is in perfect condition
The producer was Bill Leader & the Recording Engineer Nic Kinsey, for Livingston Studios, Barnet, West London. The front cover painting was by John Hodkinson & the rear cover created by Clancy Pegg.
The musicians playing on thie album were :-  Bob Pegg (Vocals, Melodeon, Whistle & Guitar), Carole Pegg (Vocals, Fiddle),  Mike Levelle (Cello, Flute), Nick Strutt (Guitar, Mandoline), Barry Lyons (Bass),  Pete Wagstaff & Alun Eden (Drums), Andrew Massey (Cello) & Roger Knowles (Guitar). 
Although released in 1971,  the recording were created in 1969 with encouragement from Bill Leader for Bob & Carol to write their own songs.  The instrumentation used  (Fiddle, Melodeon,Cello, Bass & Drums )  was inspired by the old village bands of the Yorkshire Dales. From the 8 tracks issued, only two were non original compositions. "Lord of the Dance" by Sidney Carter & "The Scorpion" by Phil Ochs. The resultant collection, impressed Leader enough, to play the tapes to Nat Joseph, of Transatlantic Records, who consequently  signed up Bob & Carol, to produce albums for his label.  This alliance with Transatlantice, resulted in the two Mr Fox albums, now highly sought after.  
This record can be considered, a preliminary offering & appetiser, of the creative talents of Bob & Carol Pegg. They fully manifested, within the contents of the Two "Mr Fox" Albums, as well as their subsequent solo & group offerings. From that perspective alone, it should not be ignored & sits very well, alongside those two excellent Mr Fox records. 
Some observations on Grading :- Mint (M) The Record is in brand new condition, no surface marks, no sound quality deteration. Records designated sealed or un-played qualify as mint.  Excellent (EX) The Record shows some signs of being played, but with minimal lessening of sound quality. The Cover &/or packaging may show slight wear &/or creasing.  Very Good (VG) The Record has obviously been played many times, but manifests no sound quality deterioraton. Despite noticeable surface marks &/or light scratching.  Visible wear & tear on the Cover or additional items, without major defects, is acceptable.  Good (G) The Record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, pehaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The Cover and contents may suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.  Fair (F) The Record is still just playable, but has not been cared for propery and displays considerable  surface noise; it may even jump. The Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
