Description
PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER). OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.
CRAZY RARE original private first pressing from 1975 on the band's own Pyramid Records (who managed this sole release in their nanosecond of a lifespan) with the first song on side B listed as Never Been Any Reason on the cover and There's Never Been Any Reason on the label, original alternate cover artwork on the front AND rear and a reversed running order before the band signed to A&M Records and the LP was re-released with side B on side A and vice versa!!! Interesting note: the "butter blot" on the front cover is modeled after what was then Assembly Hall (now State Farm Center) at the University Of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana! LP is VG++ with a few light paper scuffs on side one. Cover is VG+ with NO splits, NO seams and a hint of foxing on the rear. Incredibly hard to find the original private pressing, particularly in this condition, so don't sleep classic rock collectors.
I USE GOLDMINE GRADING~ MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++: VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+: AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG: STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR: FILLER COPY ONLY. LOTS OF SCRATCHES
