HEAD MACHINE - ORGASM
1970 UK 1st press heavy prog gem - nice copy with minor blemishes, plays great

Very good plus (VG+) condition vinyl - heavy duty, completely flat and nice and glossy vinyl, though closer inspection under a good light reveals some paper scuffs, a few light line scuffs, and 2 or 3 wispy hairlines on each side - nothing dramatic, nothing feelable, and nothing that is obviously below the surface (though a slightly more visible 2 cm scuff on side 1 does result in some very light background crackle right at the end of A3 and at the beginning of A4). Each label is near perfect, the only blemishes (too strong a word) being just a few extremely faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole on each label. The condition of the original UK 1st press front-side laminated Wes Brothers outer sleeve is very good plus (VG+). The edges remain firm but with no scuffing at all. There are some small (but clearly visible) laminate creases on side 1 (see photos), including a number of 1-2cm laminate creases adjacent and perpendicular to the spine, 4 of which do extend to the spine and very slightly weaken the rigidity of the spine at those points of contact. All spine text remains perfectly intact and the opening sides remain firm with no fraying. The reverse side remain very nicely intact also with the only blemishes being a few very light and strictly surface only handling/storage marks/smears. Still very presentable. The stereo audio quality is very good plus (VG+) with no skips, jumps, repeats, sticks, obvious clicks, interference or distortion and any background crackle is exactly that - background, occasional, and barely impacting upon the overall sound quality with every track a great listen. Impressive tone and clear instrumentation and vocals throughout! What a great album this is - heavy prog at it's very best...no wonder these first pressings are so highly sought after.
Comes with original poly-lined "MADE IN ENGLAND" inner sleeve, correctly dated with no seam splits but there is a little mild creasing towards the corners along with some equally mild age discolouration next to the edges.
Not a perfect copy, but nice condition overall and highly presentable with every track a truly brilliant listen.

Note that I always insert the vinyl into a new plain white poly-lined inner sleeve in order to protect the original during postage, and separate this from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these precious records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me.
