HEAD MACHINE - ORGASM - MAJOR MINOR UK 1970 MINT ORIGINAL
SLP 079 2L/2L VERY RARE 1ST PRESSING OF THIS MIGHTY 'URIAH HEEP' RELATED HEAVY PROGMONSTER.
ONE OF THE MAJOR LEAGUE UK HARDPROG RARITIES & ALWAYS HAS BEEN. HERE'S THE FINAL UPGRADE
.

The absolute rarity of this album is not to be underestimated. Purest heavy prog!!! It hardly ever surfaces nowadays. This album is uniue in more than just one way. It comes from someone within the inner circle of Uriah Heep, a friend of the guys and their guitar and keyboards tech for many years. He had this album signed by Ken at one of their (Uriah Heep's) concerts. I bought this album off him and for that reason know that the autograph is fully original.

ELUSIVE PROGMONSTER!!!! VINYL IN A UNIQUE EX+ CONDITION!!!

!!!!AN IMPOSSIBLE FIND!!!GORGEOUS EX+!!! Less than two hundred copies of this  LP were ever sold!!! This is SOOOOOOOOOOO very rare!!!!!

A bit of info:

"Head Machine were never a functional band. This was, in fact, a demo under a pseudonym by members of the Gods. When they split, three joined forces in Toe Fat. Out of contract keyboardist Ken Hensley became Ken Leslie, and drummer Lee Kerslake became Lee Poole (after his hometown). Both later went on to great fame and fortune with Uriah Heep."(Record Collector)

In all my years this is only the second time I have come across this absolute STUNNER. Probably the hardest Major Minor to get. The rarity of this LP is not to be underestimated!!! Most of these will now be tucked away in major collections across the four corners of the Earth. Only 200 are rumoured to be about. Rare ... anyone??

Vinyl: Strong EX+!!  Sensational sound quality, NO skips or jumps. NO clicks, this is really a stunning early heavy vinyl from the Golden Era with a beautiful deep gloss. Only two or three very wispy hairlines to be seen. These do not have any impact on the sound. This is topdrawer songcraft as well and foreshadowing what was yet to come with Uriah Heep. Sometimes some slight static can be heard. I am being quite fussy. Many sellers would grade this NM.  Inspected under an intense lightsource and angled. It is quite unlikely that a better one will come up for auction anytime soon.

I have played this in FULL> The replay is ASTOUNDING!!! I first played for a general listen and a second time for a more in-depth observation. I am very glad to say that there are not any jumps or skips. Unbelievably as it may sound there is hardly any static background noise at all !!! Very remarkable for this 1970 vinyl!!!  Great songcraft, no wonder this album is now so sought after. I played this on my Technics turntable with a Linn cartridge and through my very revealing B&W three way speakers!!!

Sleeve: EX. Front  laminated sleeve.  The sleeve is phenomenal!!! . A few tiny underlaminate "mini" creases near the spine. Tiny corner "bumps". The edges and opening are sharp and crisp. This sleeve has been looked after. The spine is fully legible and has the band name, album name  and the catalogue number. "Made and Printed in England by West Brothers Limited". This is a unique investment opportunity!!! Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible!!!

Plain white inner with polylining.

Labels are NM.

Important : International Postage.  This will be sent via Signed For tracked service.

This an excellent investment opportunity!!! Any questions please ask me and I will try to answer soon.
