Description
This unit put out their first single in 1978 as "Zoom," but quickly stickered over those copies a label proclaiming them "The Dopes," a name they retained for their 2nd and final 7". We have no idea where they're from, as their first record had a song about "Escanaba," which is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. However, the first label for "Zoom" was based in northern Illinois, and there are rumors of them being from Madison, Wisconsin, which is in between Illinois and Michigan. Either way, this is their best record, 2 excellent originals. .
