Description

Dave Dudley-I Wouldn’t Wait Around/Maybe I Do (Vee VR 7003). VG++ plays MINT. B-side has a black “X” on the label.
Hot 1961 Minneapolis obscure Rockabilly rarity with some great guitar licks throughout. B-side is a nice slow Country ballad which has the sound later associated with Dave's successful musical career. Don’t miss out on this Twin Cities rarity which you rarely see offered in this cherry condition. 
Interesting fact is that both sides were co-written by Dave Dudley and George Garrett (of the SOMA/Garrett/Bangar labels and Trashmen legacy). The record was produced by Alexander Prod. out of Minneapolis.
This is also the FIRST pressing of these songs recorded at Kay Bank Studio, which was later released on the Pelham label #4504 (not sure if this is the same recording since I haven’t heard the second pressing). Don’t miss out on this Twin Cities gem in cherry condition.
