Fadoul was indeed half Algerian through his Mother. He has sejourned in Algeria in the 70's, blending with local Musicians and recording some mind blowing records, such as this one.
This is the Algerian version of "Jedba"/"Maktoub Allah" which is quite different from the known Moroccan version. It was recorded, pressed and sold only in Algeria, and released under "Faddoul M'faddel". The genius of the Moroccan James Brown was met by an eccentric & harmonious Algerian Gheïta, giving birth to one of the most amazing 45's out there..
The record is an Excellent condition. Please note that the Jedba/Mektoub Allah 45 doesn't have a proper picture sleeve and was sold under another picture sleeve (Sid Redad/Tayeh)
