Kindred Spirit - Blue Avenue / Under My Thumb (Intrepid 75016) M- comes with the original Intrepid label sleeve in M- condition
Driving 1969 Johnstown PA fast moody organ/guitar lament with fuzz break off lots of comps. A-side is a wicked cool remake of boss song written by Boston's own Beacon Street Union that appears on their first LP. Flip is a worthy Stones remake. Very obscure Mercury-subsidiary pressing in cherry condition.
NOTE: THIS IS THE ELUSIVE STOCK COPY WITH “BLUE AVENUE” (MOST ARE DOUBLE-SIDED PRESSINGS WITH ONLY “UNDER MY THUMB”). IT HAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MIX WITH MORE ORGAN, LESS GUITAR LEADS WITH REVERB, AND LESS VOCAL FROM THE FAR MORE COMMON MOXIE LOCAL LABEL. YOU VIRTUALLY NEVER SEE THIS 45 SO DON'T MISS OUT!
