This book is the story of the group formed by Leonard Slye, or as he is most commonly known ROY ROGERS. From it's conception all the way through to the 1980's, this wonderful book follows the formation of the country cowboy group and gives a full history of all the members through the years.

Written by Ken Griffis, this is the 1986 updated version, and includes many, many amazing black and white photos of the group during it's various line-ups. Many pictures of Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan, Rusty Richards etc; some of the pictures show live shots and others are captured on various film sets such as "Rio Grande".

Contains a full discography on all record labels; a full rundown on their film appearances; a list of song compositions; chronoligical listing of commercially released albums and much more information.

A fantastic book in very, very good condition - some slight rubbing/turning up at the very corners. One tiny split on the spine, one tiny tear on rear cover. Very clean and tidy example of an extremely rare book - especially in the UK.
