Marquee Revue-Comin’ Back/I Had A Dream (Butterick 101) M-
Cherry copy of excellent Omaha NE band’s 45 from the summer of 1969 and their sound is half-way between being a hot Blue-Eyed Soul Dancer and Garage Rock. A-side features a horn-based Garage Soul sound and a hottt Northern Soul track on the flip.
The group existed from mid-1968 to mid-1971 and played at Gino?s Nightclub for over two years, as well as the Hey Jude Lounge and the Aquarius. They recorded this first on the local Butterick label and then on the Pacific Avenue label.
Hard single to find, especially in this cherry condition!
