1977 UK Track Records LP, 2409 218.

Early issue with matt black and silver labels, A2/B2 matrix suffixes and "Porky Prime Cut" etched to both run-offs/dead wax area.

Vinyl in visually solid excellent condition. Just a very few spider trail marks visible at centre spindle areas. Surfaces have a good gloss still and display no visible marks, even at very close inspection. Playback is generally clean and free of ticks or underlying background noise. Some low level crackle is occasionally heard here and there however. This does not appear to be due to any marks on the surfaces. I did wipe the LP clean of some stray finger smudges, and presume that it is only a little ingrained residue causing light crackle. I've played the LP a few times, and have noticed considerable improvement with each play as the stylus picks up a little debris each time.

Labels are clean and undefaced.

Sleeve is in mostly clean condition. No sticker or pen marks. Both front and rear panels show some storage ringwear rubbing to extremities, although the angle of the photograph does rather overemphasise this. (The sleeve is still a deep black and not faded away from the rubbed portions). Some minor pinch line creases leading in from spine area. Edges are acceptably clean and mostly unworn bar some storage chipping to top edge, Spine still in good order and no seam splits. Tips just lightly rubbed.

A Note On Grading:

Note that audio grading is subjective and based on sensitivity of equipment used for playback. In this instance playback has been tested on a vintage Technics Quartz Direct Drive SL1700 MKII turntable with Shure cartridge, Technics SU-C 03 amp and Technics SB-F2 Linear Phase speakers.

Also note that I generally do not clean vinyl unless so noted. Most vinyl will show improved playback quality with your preferred cleaning method, but I leave this to the prospective buyer, as controversy still surrounds the ideal method of cleaning vinyl.
