Description

Please read my description carefully before bidding.  I will ship the item worldwide and will accept a free return if it doesn't match the listing description.

This one is a mono issue of Helen Merrill on Emarcy Label MG-36006. Blue Labels with Deep Groove on both labels.  Issued in the USA in 1955.  This is an original LP, not reissue versions. VERY BEAUTIFUL MUSIC. A COMBINATION OF FIRST CLASS JAZZ INSTRUMENTALISTS AND GREAT JAZZ VOCALIST OF ALL TIMES. ONE OF MY FAVORITE JAZZ LPs.

Helen Merrill (vocals), Clifford Brown (trumpet), Jimmy Jones (piano), Frank Haynes (ts), Oscar Pettiford (bass).  Music arranged by Quincy Jones.  Recorded in 1954.

The record plays smooth VG+ on both sides with acceptable background noises occasionally.  Visually, the vinyl is also VG+ with small paper scuffs and hairlines (all are non-feelably and non-audibly).

Songs are very nice both vocally and musically.  A combination of world-class jazz artists results in great jazz performance.

The cover is also VG+.  Strong and no split but fading on the back cover.  Some bruises on spine and small laminated peels hear and there.  For me, it looks classy for its age.

The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.

My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied.  And I will accept a free return.  Please bid with confidence.
