Description

This album is by jazz vocalist Helen Merrill. The self-titled lp was released in 1954 on Emarcy records MG-36006. She is joined by a group of hot musicians including Clifford Brown,Jimmy Jones,Barry Galbraith,Milt Hinton,Danny Banks adn Osie Johnson. Vinyl is on the original blue label with the deep groove and the drummer logo. The A side grades at a solid vg+ to vg++ and the flip is a strong vg+ with equally nice gloss and some light but noticable hairline scuffs. Cover is graded somewhere between vg and vg+ marred by light browning from age wear on the back and a minor split in the middle of the bottom border and it has the black pictures not the blue tinted ones on the very first pressing.  Money back guarantee  if not completely satisfied.
