Description
HELEN TRAUBEL MET OPERA Tristan Isolde ACETATE complete melchior, leinsdorf ***** Description
- PLEASE NOTE: These are oversized 16" acetates, cut at 33 RPM and will need to be played on a special player that can accomodate that size.
- I got this at an estate sale with a collection of Helen Traubel acetates. This had been forwarded by a radio station, wrapped up in mailing paper, mailed and never opened by the recipient. I opened to inspect. Though there are some stray fingerprints (probably from me inspecting the discs) it is most probably unplayed, or possibly played once by the radio station. This is exceedingly rare!
- From Feb 6, 1943
- Conducted by Eric Leinsdorf, with Traubel, Melchoir, Thorberg, Huehn, Kipnis
- See additional photos below
- No cover
- Records are NEAR MINT PLUS, very nice.
- STRICT GRADING! Completely guaranteed! Check my feedback and bid with confidence!
