Description

Description: This item is a privately recorded 10 inch aluminum base acetate disc that probably was recorded professionally based on the overall excellent fidelity. It is recorded at 78 rpm. I personally obtained this disc from the  Helen Ward estate.


Artist: Vocalist Helen Ward accompanied by unknown rhythm section of piano, guitar and bass.


Tunes: Sleepy Time Gal / This Can’t Be Love


Unknown recording date; possibly late 40's to early 50's.


To the best of my knowledge and after checking various discographies, this appears to be an unissued performance.


Disc Condition: The disc visually grades VG+ condition with a surface scuffs and a few light scratches but nothing disruptive.  Some inherent acetate surface noise is audible but not to the detriment of the music. There is no peeling or flaking of the acetate.
