STRANGELY, THIS ONE SEEMS HARDER TO FIND THAN THE SO-CALLED 'WITHDRAWN' PUPPET COVER ISSUE
I'VE SEEN DOZENS OF 'PUPPETS' OVER THE YEARS BUT HAD ONLY A FEW 'KAFTANS' IN STOCK
whatever - here's a nice example of the 'kaftan' cover issue with super high gloss surfaces
near mint disc displaying only the lightest insignificant paper traces from the original (and correct - date coded 0970 for September 1970) poly-lined inner sleeve
thick and heavy disc, original, very matt labels and '1' '1' stampers
the labels are clean, bright and sharp with only minimal signs of spindle use
the oh-so-fragile and prone to wear cover is a solid excellent and the best I've seen without the heavy wear usually found
merely some of the lightest edge and seam scuffing and only the ghost of a little circular wear at one point - nice spine - corners have light bumping ultra-tight seams, clean opening edges and interior layout
