JIMI HENDRIX

BAND OF GYPSYS

with BUDDY MILES & BILLY COX

recorded live at the Fillmore East, New York

Original 1970 stereo release on UK Track Records (cat. no. 2406 002) in magnificent condition.

Withdrawn puppet sleeve featuring Hendrix, Brian Jones, Bob Dylan and John Peel. The Hendrix puppet is playing right-handed on the back. This was hastily withdrawn and replaced with a sleeve featuring Hendrix playing live.

The condition of the vinyl is superb - still very shiny - side one has a couple of minor surface marks and side two is nearly mint. This albums been wee looked after and comes in the original poly-lined inner sleeve.

The matt sleeve is excellent with no writing or tears. There's a bit of creasing on the bottom right and the slight indentation of the record all round. The spine is excellent although with the sleeve being matt there is a certain ammount of scuffing on the edges.

An excellent original example of one of the ultimate rarities in the Hendrix catalogue.
