GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Note : musiche composte da Henri Crolla e André Hodeir. Una piacevolissima colonna sonora quasi interamente costruita su ottima musica jazz. Si alternano ritmiche veloci come in " Paris - Saint-Tropez ", " Petit Mambo " e " Pot-Pourri " con andamenti sonori più moderati come nel caso di " Barbecue " e " Saint-Tropez Blues " oppure con sviluppo lento come in " La Ponche ". Grande interpretazione dei talentuosi musicisti che sanno perfettamente esprimersi anche con magnifici brevi assoli sia con i sassofoni, con la tromba e con il vibrafono. I miei due brani preferiti sono : " Barbecue n° 2 " dalla vena ritmica vivace con ottimi interventi di contrabbasso, sax, batteria e " Blues Pour Flute " brano lento di bella originalità ben guidato dal flauto in contrappunto col basso. Escono dalla musica jazz " Generique - La Bravade " una marcia con tamburo e flauto e le due canzoni " Tumbleweed " e " Saint-Tropez Blues " interpretate in Francese da Marie Laforêt.

Notes : music Henri Crolla and André Hodeir. A highly enjoyable score almost entirely based on good Jazz music. Fast rhythmics such as  " Paris - Saint-Tropez ", " Petit Mambo " and " Pot-Pourri " alternate with moderate developments as in the case of " Barbecue " and " Saint-Tropez Blues " or slow as in " La Ponche ". Great performances by gifted musicians as well in magnificent short solos on saxes, trumpet, vibraphone. My two favorite tunes : " Barbecue # 2 " from lively development with excellent interventions of double bass, sax, drums and  " Blues Pour Flute " from a slow rhythm of sophisticated originality, well-led by the flute in counterpoint with the double bass. Leaving the jazz : "  " Generique - La Bravade ", a march with drum and flute and the two songs " Tumbleweed " and " Saint-Tropez Blues " performed in French by Marie Laforêt.
