VIRGIN LABEL 1974 ORIGINAL FIRST UK PRESSING WITH E J DAY OUTER LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE & POLY LINED INNER IN NEAR MINT CONDITION.

Released in 1974 on the first issue black & white VIRGIN label, I am offering today this original first UK pressing of this rare and hard to find progressive classic by HENRY COW. The album is titled "UNREST".
The album comes complete with original E J DAY printed outer laminated gatefold sleeve and original poly lined inner sleeve. This is probably one of the best examples that you are likely to find. The labels have no spindle traces at all. A top example of this progressive classic.
I have just played this album through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays very well with absolutely no sticks or skips or nasty pops etc but there was some light background noise on the odd occasion.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually is near mint and audibly plays nicely with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc but there was some light crackle on the odd occasion which may disperse with a good clean.
The SLEEVE, The outer laminated gatefold sleeve printed by E J Day is in excellent condition. the spine is fully legible and on the front It has the original Beggars Banquet price sticker along with a special attention sticker otherwise clean with no splits or unwanted writing etc.
The LABELS, The first issue black & white Virgin labels are very clean, showing no spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The original poly lined inner is clean and free from unwanted writing, stickers or splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
