COMPLEX BRITISH progressive jazz rock aggregate formed from an amalgamation of Slapp Happy and Henry Cow, this being their second album. They specialised in a mostly driving melange of funk and avant garde free form jazz exploration - vocal and instrumental. The combination of bands was not totally without its detractors although the edges of composition was explored authoratively and experimentation was always at the heart of proceedings. Lead vocalist Dagma Krause is a joy to behold - her instantly identifiable voice lending the contents a unique and vibrant edge although, it must be said, she is an acquired taste.

One of the most overlooked British bands during the late seventies much like Hatfield & The North, National Health and Gong but totally burried by punk rock although their political voice was exactly in the same ball park.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Vinyl: Beautiful clean and shiny condition. No spindle marks on labels and virtually no other signs of use. Grades as top MINT-!

Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully designed cover - red sock signalling the band's collective state of mind! Sharp corners (slightly rubbed in a few places), no dings, no bends, no ring wear, no split seams and one corner curl top right.
