HENRY LOWTHER: CHILD SONG (Deram UK 1970 stereo SML 1070 - stamped matrix)
One of the rarest early seventies uk progressive jazz lp's! Considered to be the pinnacle of the style & period... Hardly ever turns up for sale so this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to obtain this record. Long tracks that melt together and create 1 long suite per side. Henry Lowther is of course one of the top british musicians of the period, having played a.o. with John Mayall, Keef Hartley Band etc... and as one of the most in demand sessionmen on the scene.
Record looks brilliant, played only once, so as close to mint as you'll ever get; laminated non-gatefold sleeve also in brilliant condition, with only 2 smaal marks on the back; all in all a copy to please even the most difficult collector.
Ebay makes it nearly impossible for foreign sellers to list correct & up-to-date postage rates; therefore and to avoid confusion, what follows are the rates that I will apply. Please await my invoice before sending payment.
Postage rates (priority airmail):
- Europe: 7 euro / 10 US dollars
- USA & rest of the world: 16 US dollars
Registered delivery: 5 euro / 7 US dollars extra (recommended for expensive items); unfortunately postage to Italy will always have to be registered (too many problems in the past, sorry...)
I'd prefer European buyers to make payment with bank transfer (account, IBAN, etc will appear on invoice); Paypal accepted but not encouraged. Other international buyers: Paypal accepted.
