Beautiful copy of the original 1959 first pressing of the classic soundtrack for Peter Gunn by Henry Mancini, on RCA Living Stereo LPS-1956. 6S/10S pressing with the Miracle Surface sticker on the front. This was the classic jazzy soundtrack that made Mancini a star, still a favorite recording, covered in all sorts of different styles and still heard on radios and in public spaces all the time. But this is the very original release, and a beautiful stereo copy. The disc has only a couple of very light superficial marks but they don’t affect the play at all. It plays just about flawlessly and truly beautifully. The cover has very light curling and discoloration at the lower right corner and a very small 3/4” split at the top edge, but is overall stunningly crisp and clean. Really a beautiful copy inside and out. Hard to beat.
