Description
You are bidding on Herbie Hancock's thematic "Empyrean Isles" vinyl record. This is the first mono pressing on the Blue Note label with New York, USA address. This features the Van Gelder stamp and Plastylite "Ear" in the dead wax.
The vinyl record is play graded and visually graded in VG+ condition. The record plays with some light background noise, nothing significant or distracting from the music. No skips, plays clean throughout. The disc is still shiny but does show some signs of removal from the sleeve with some scuffs and superficial scratches. Again nothing significant.
The Cover rates VG+ condition. The front cover looks great with minimal if any shelf wear. Minor crease toward the middle of the mouth of the sleeve. Top and bottom seams show some wear. No splits. The spine is solid with no apparent flaws. The back of the cover shows minimal shelf wear. It does appear that there is some writing next to the track listings and some sort of writing or stamp where an attempt was made to erase or rub it out in the top right corner underneath the catalog number (see pix). Otherwise it looks good. This comes with the original inner sleeve which we do not grade.
