Description
HERBIE HANCOCK: BLUE NOTE Records BLP-4109 MONO (Mfd in New York City in the 60's) TAKIN' OFF - MONO - Original Vinyl Album - This is in exceptionally nice shape. This is a Deep Groove, early pressing. The Run Off Groove. has hand etched on it: BN-LP-4109 A-1 and B, with the EAR Mark, VANGELDER is machine stamped in small letters. The Front Cover is glossy and is in EXCELLENT condition; there is a bottom corner dent on the bottom Right, and a small corner tip ding on the bottom Left. The Back is clean and white, but there is what appears to be sticker damage at the upper Right Corner. Even up close, it's hard to tell exactly what it is. It looks like there was a sticker there which someone removed, and then marked on the same spot. The Labels are clean on Both Sides. The Vinyl Record has its original Gloss and shows very little use. There is one very small, very light, and silent, "paper scuff", otherwise it looks New. DRIFTIN' plays VG++ and Better; the other Tracks play beautifully at Almost New/New. I hope that the Sound Clips will speak for themselves. I've posted some audio clips from every Track on this LP, starting with SIDE A, Track 1 at: www.gate.net/~rhanes/herbiehancocklptakin.wma - If you click onto this hyperlink, you can download them as WINDOWS MEDIA AUDIO FILES and listen for yourself. CRANK IT UP! I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00. I can ship this to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $22.00; shipping to Canada will cost $15.00. I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week, so please be patient. I can email you Overseas Postage rates. I can take PAYPAL (and others). The POST OFFICE LOSES PACKAGES, don't blame me if it happens to you. If bidding on this reaches $50, and it ships to a non-US buyer, Registered Mail will be required in addition to First Class Postage, but I'll pay $5.50 of the $13.95 Registered Mail fee. If it sells for over $120. to a non-US Bidder, it will have to ship Air Priority, which will run around $52; I'll have to Insure it for the Full Amount at my expense, and declare Full Value on the Customs Form. If it sells for over $500, it will have to ship EXPRESS MAIL, which will cost around $90.00. Since I will have to insure it, I will have to declare full sales value; if paying with some way other than Paypal, I can ship it any way you want. Paypal rules make it very difficult and expensive to ship anything out of the country now, since they require on-line Tracking Numbers. You can't get that with simple First Class International shipping. Please don't pay until you receive my eBay Invoice. No reserve. Good luck!
