Vinyl Condition: EX Lovely shiny condition. There are some light sleevemarks /sleeve rash marks and the odd light hairline in places but overall therecord really is in great condition. Label is as new!

Playback is great and is fully tested.

Inner Sleeve Condition: VG Original Blue Note inner has some creasingand very small tears at top as to be expected of a record this old. Previous owner has written a date (10/10/02) in very small writing in corner.

Outer Sleeve Condition: EX+ laminate sleeve is in superb condition forits age. The back of the sleeve is also great with no writing etc. only veryslight aging to the back cover. Original “Watermelon Man” sticker is veryslightly torn in corner.

I grade my vinyl’s as follows:

M = Mint: The record itself is in brand newcondition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The coverand any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfectcondition. Unplayed and sealed records are referred to as Mint.

Ex = Excellent: The record shows some signs ofhaving been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover andpackaging might have minimal wear and/or creasing.

VG = Very Good: The record has obviously beenplayed many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.

G = Good: The record has been played so much thatthe sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion andmild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

Fair = The record shows signs of extensive play and may have many marksand deep scratches but will still play ok but with significantly lower sound quality.Artwork will be rather worn with possible splits, small rips, scrapes, dents,or maybe water damage.

Items will be carefully packaged and fully insured when posted.
