A fabulous jazz session here, recorded in 1981 in the CBS Sony Studios in Tokyo, Japan, using the PCM recording system.
It features Herbie Hancock with Wynton Marsalis, Ron Carter, and Tony Williams playing THE EYE OF THE HURRICANE, THE SORCERER, PEE WEE, I FALL IN LOVE TOO EASILY, A QUICK SKETCH (that goes a whole side), and ‘ROUND MIDNIGHT, among others.
Mastered by Precision Lacquers in L.A., a great 2LP set in fine shape: Cover and records like new. (Might be unplayed.)
