Description




The Test Copies or "approval copies" are from Stereotape, Inc., duplicated by MAGTEC circa mid 1970s.
These first production runs were used for quality control and also mailed out as "promotional copies" without graphics.

These tapes were originally stored and transported loose, then later transferred to either a black textured reel box or generic white hinged or a two piece tape box, depending on availability. (Refer to supplied photos)

Since I do not have a tape deck or any other means of playback, I have no way of verifying if the prerecorded material noted on the cases is actually on the seven (7) inch reel nor how it  plays.   All information supplied was researched from the catalog number written on the reel.


SPECIAL NOTE:   Possible Dolby level set tones are provided at the start of these recordings for use with adjustable Dolby playback equipment.
