SCORPIO 7"   JA, matrix: HC 7604/05   A: HERMAN CHIN-LOY as THE TEACHER   IGGY IGGY VERSION   (Hi...don't you know..."This Is....the SOUL VIBRATION...That Rock The Nation...the Great Ooga-Booga From Arooga..."...IMHO the very best by any test...when it comes to early DeeJay-sounds & styles...Herman Chin-Loy's mega-tuff DeeJay cut to Augustus Pablo's first and eternal version of the mystical "East Of The River Nile"...this tune's a. k. a. "Soul Vibration"...which speaks for itself...the youthful producer teaches the DeeJays how to ride such a booooooom riddim...guaranteed to shake up ANY sound...absolutley top scoring great early reggae...one of the best amongst millions and thousands and hundreds...this is the original press you won't see too often...absolutely hard to find...but…not to be missed!)   B: AQUARIANS    STILL YET VERSION   (Here we have the next cut to another famous Augustus Pablo-chune...the 1971 recorded "Still Yet" (itself an instrumental-cut to Stafford "Long Before Becoming Fred Locks" Elliott's "Ali Haile", recorded as Lyric & Birds )...killer killer phonky horns on this one...great early reggay...)   ORIGINAL PRESS (NOT A RE-PRESS)   FEATURE: NATTY CHASE THE BARBER   WAX'N'SOUND:  edge-warp, not affecting the play! ex- / ex-,  both sides show lightest general wear only, plays just great w / killer punch + clear, crisp sound, pop-a-top copy! LABEL: both sides show light general wear, NO writings/markings, bit dirty on B-side and there are traces due to removed sticker, NO damages - watch the scan, please!  Something 'bout Sound + Vision: We shouldn't rely on visual appearance alone (as pretty looks isn’t all as they say) - therefore these records are graded after their visual appearance and their sound quality! I personally prefer a record with crackling but strong sound + punch to one playing clean but with surface noise from the pressing (as we find with re-pressed discs - too - often). Grading records is a very subjective thing but I try hard to be objective as a human being can be (yes indeed, this seller is a human being).   THIS IS MY VINYL GRADING SCALE:   EX (= really great - EX means "excellent", really...) VG (= nice, if you don't have an excellent one - by the way: VG means "very good"...) G (= playable, but you might find a better one - G means "good", but this term may be a bit euphemistic to reggae-vinyl-novices. Be realistic: a record graded G doesn't jump nor stick, but that's the best I can say about it...)
