On offer here is a VERY rare Double LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Heron called "Twice As Nice & Half The Price" and is an ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Dawn label!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE RAREST LPs ON THE DAWN LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1971 WHEN THIS DOUBLE LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS MADE EVEN RARER STILL - AS IT IS 100% COMPLETE WITH ITS ORIGINAL 'POSTCARD' (NEARLY ALWAYS MISSING!)!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT, BUT THIS DOUBLE LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1971 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS DAWN LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVES, ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'POSTCARD', AND 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Dawn UK 1st Pressing from 1971 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The records are pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is DNLS 3025 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Dawn label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The record labels on BOTH records (see pictures) have NO tears, NO stickers, NO wear (apart from a TINY touch around a couple of centre holes), NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 VERY light hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! BOTH RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINE LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the records play as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! BOTH records must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which are in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The ULTRA RARE 1st Press Postcard is in BRILLIANT condition (apart from a small 'touched in' trace to 2 corners), and most importantly has NO FOLDING AT ALL!!!! AND THIS POSTCARD IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL TO THIS LP - AS IT HAS THE TRACK LISTING & BAND DETAILS + CREDITS ON THE REVERSE!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press Laminated Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the corners, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, only VERY slight rubbing, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Very Good+ if not better!!!! THIS DOUBLE LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
