HERWIN SKIP JAMES RARE BLUES 10 INCH 78 DRUNKEN SPREE
This is an original USA issue of the SKIP JAMES 78 RPM 10 INCH vinyl record of “Drunken Spree / Illinois Blues”.
The original Herwin label run by Herbert & Edwin Schiele ran from 1924-1930 and put out Gospel & Blues recordings. In 1965 the label name was resurrected by collector and researcher Bernard Klatzko to release VINYL 10” 78 RPM records presumably of historic recordings that he liked. These two sides were recorded by Klatzko in Boston in 1964. Even though they were issued in the mid 1960’s these records are now very hard to find in great condition.
Cat No: Herwin 92403 (1967).
CONDITION:Cover – EXCELLENT. Plain brown paper sleeve.
Record – EXCELLENT with a couple of tiny scuffs. Totally clean labels.
