(IMPORTANT NOTE: unless otherwise noted, ALL records are graded visually, and NOT play-graded!; we grade records under the strong, diffuse room light or discrete sunlight)

(a)            CAUTION! The vinyl is only VERY GOOD (-)- with multiple, numerous, small scuffs and scratches which are BOTH visible AND audible. The record plays with light and tolerable BUT AUDIBLE surface noise and occasional pops and clicks. Some abrasions may be longer than 2 inches (1 inch = 2.5 centimeters) and are somewhat visually distracting. The record plays without skipping throughout. This record WAS play-graded.

(b)            This album is presented here mostly for its historical value and as a very rare item, which can be exceedingly difficult to find in any other condition

(c)             The record has a "deep groove" (an indent in the label about 1/2-inch from the edge of the label, which on SOME labels is associated with very early or first pressings).

(d)            The record is pressed on a beautiful, thick, inflexible vinyl, which was usually used for the first or very early pressings. Usually, the sound on such thick vinyl pressings is full-bodied, vivid, and even dramatic. Do not expect to obtain such a majestic analog sound from a digital recording!

(e)             Of course, this is a full-bodied ANALOG recording, and not an inferior, digital recording!!!

(f)              Stereo copies of this album are NOT known to exist.

·       COVER (THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, LAMINATED, GLOSSY COVER):

THE COVER IS ABOUT VERY GOOD+ (VG+)

The following flaws or imperfections are noted on the cover:

-         Cover has a partially split top seam (between 2 and 4 inches / 5 to 10 centimeters)

-         Cover has a partially split bottom seam (between 6 and 8 inches /15 to 20 centimeters); The packaging tape used to tape this seam has yellowed and peeled off, leaving unseemly yellowish tape residue (more pronounced on back side).

-         Cover has some fraying/wear along the lower seam and spine

-         Cover shows some yellowing on back side, apparently from aging.

-         Cover has a small peel-off mark, probably from the careless removal of the price sticker.

-         Back cover has some dirt- and dust-covered sections, probably from friction or from rubbing against the other record covers (these spots are similar to a common ring wear, but are different in one important way: while the ring wear is an irreversible damage that cannot be repaired, some of these rubbing marks may actually be possible to clean up with a minor effort)

-         Cover has a few tiny wrinkles along the spine

-         Front cover has a small sticker, plugging the hit single `Shop Around`.

-         Cover has two corners slightly worn / frayed / bent.

NO OTHER IMPERFECTIONS ON THE COVER:

-         No cut-out (drill) holes.

-         No cut-out corners

-         No saw-marks or indents

-         No writing

-         No stamps

-         No stains

-         No mold or mildew spots

-         No water damage

-         No razor marks, scratches, pressure marks, lines, streaks, or cuts.

-         No warping

-         No wax, glue, paint or liquid drops on the cover

-         No bar codes

-         No RIAA stamps or stickers.
