This is a Classic Records reissue of a much sought after Mercury Living Presence LP from the Golden Age of HI-Fi recordings. It was played only once, then cleaned and vacuumed on a VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine. It is NM with stunning sound and a clean surface. This double sided 45rpm LP has stunning sound and a silent clean surface. Most audiophiles prefer this recording taken from the original master tapes to the original Mercury issue because of the Classic Records process of 180 gr vinyl and 45 rpm speed, both of which combine for quieter surfaces, and deeper soundstage. I have been a serious record collector for many years who still misses the scent of vinyl from the mostly long gone record stores. This is from my private collection of many thousands of recordings. I am at the stage where I plan to sell most of my collection over the next years, keeping only my desert island choices. This is a very special set recorded during what many consider to be the golden age of hi-fi. This stunning recording contains much respected Frederick Fennell with the Eastman Rochester "Pops" Orchestra at their collaborating best.
