“Coltrane” VIOLIN with Oregon –
Vanguard VSD-79397
A most unique outing from group Oregon, here playing with violinist Zbigniew Seifert, who plays violin like Coltrane might.
Seifert, in fact, states, “I admire Coltrane and try to play as he would if his instrument were the violin.”
Great selections include VIOLIN (a group improv for 15 minutes), plus SERENADE, RAVEN’S WOOD, FLAGOLET, and FRIEND OF THE FAMILY.
A terrific musical outing, with great sound, here in a cover that has a notch, record within will play near mint. (Small scuff on side 2 may tic briefly.)

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
