This is one of the truly great RECENTLY DISCOVERED - PUNK / KBD / POWER POP - US / TEXAS killers by the teenage band HIGH EXPOSURE from 1983. AN UNPLAYED ORIGINAL, AND A MUST !!!.
I don't think this single has been comped yet, but is one of the best examples of US PUNK / KBD / POWER POP cross over singles, and would be a great addition to any of the KILLED BY DEATH / POWERPEARLS type compilations.
These Texas teenagers (and they were only teenagers when recording this single on their own) grew up on a diet of THE RAMONES and in their own unique do it yourself way tried to create the same sound, but as a result of not being able to play their instruments that well this single in my opinion is one of the best examples of TRUE PUNK do it yourself spirit, you have to hear it to see how great it is, it reminds me a bit of the VOMIT PIGS in attitude !!!
The single came out in 1983 on the band's own MADHOUSE MUSIC RECORDS, catalogue number HE 101 - MM , a rare find and an ORIGINAL pressing !!!

The songs are: I KNOW WHAT I LIKE / ALL ALONE TONIGHT.

This single Comes with the original HAND MADE, VERY THIN PAPER PICTURE SLEEVE and the RARE HAND CUT LYRIC INSERT that is missing from most other copies, and The condition of the VINYL is EX+++++ (Only PLAYED ONCE to test), ORIGINAL HOME MADE THIN PAPER P/S is in VG+/VG++ condition, (slight yellowing from age and a minor split at the bottom seam !!!).
You will not find another copy of this killer PUNK / KBD / POWER POP single very soon in this NM condition, only a few hundred copies were ever made of this private press single.
