Description
High Tide: "Sea Shanties" 1969, USA/Liberty LST-7638. Disc is in nice EX to M- shape, I doubt you could ever upgrade it! Garefold cover has a cut corner and a scrape on the back, very minor wear otherwise, it's VG+. Heavy-beyond-belief debut LP by this legendary British underground band. Vocalist sounds like Jim Morrison in a real bad mood, guitar tone sounds like chainsaws throttled wide open, throbbing bass, screeching violin... it's a real monster, no other way to describe it. When you're working up the list of the all-time heaviest LPs from the era, this one will surely be near the top. Crushes pretty much everything, including their second album!
