Description
Here we have the rare LP from High Tide titled 'Sea Shanties'.
This is the original 1969 pressing on Liberty Records LBS 83264. Stampers A#1 - B#1
The white LP cover has become rather degrained over near 50 years as most white covers from that era have.
The band and album titles on the spine have partly worn and is somewhat discoloured,but the spine is still fully intact.
The rear of the cover has some ring wear (see photo).
The front of cover has some odd marks here and there,with discolouration at the top and some marks at the bottom.
The inside of the cover is in very good shape with no loss of colour to the fabulous artwork.
The cover is fully intact. There are no rips or tears,but there is age discolouration to the white outer of the cover. I would grade it Good to VG.
The vinyl LP plays very well. All I can see under a strong bright light are some very fine hairlines and it played through very well,and has been very well looked after considering it's age.
No long or deep scratches whatsoever,and I would grade it a strong VG+. I think the album would sound even better with a professional clean.
There are some 'moderate' spindle marks.
The Vinyl LP has been stored in original white sleeve with a poly lining.
A very decent copy of this rare and wonderful album.
