HIGH TIDE SEA SHANTIES ORIGINAL 1969 VINYL.
Rare 1969 UK stereo vinyl LP on the blue Liberty label (LBS 83264) This debut album from High Tide was one of the first to feature electric violin as a rock instrument played by Simon House. The gatefold, Paul Whitehead designed picture sleeve has an amazing illustration across the inside spread. There is very minor shelf wear to edges and corners of the sleeve, which remain very nicely square. The plastic lined inner sleeve, which is original to the period, has slight browning of age. The vinyl is in Very Good to Excellent condition, and only on the quietest passages (which there are few) is there any minor descernable crackle. The album, which has been play tested prior to listing, has remained in my collection since first purchased from new, is perfectly flat with only minimal evidence of play for it's 50 plus years. Rarely available at such a low starting bid.
