Description
The gatefold sleeve is in VG condition. It is unlaminated, and there is no creasing to the front, or back. The white card has yellowed slightly, as can be seen in Pics. 1 and 3, mainly towards the edges. The front has a small stain in the lower left corner, Pic.2. The edges and spine are partially rubbed, mainly in the corners.
The inner gatefold is clean, with a couple of light crescent creases near the opening edge.
The vinyl is EX-. It is clean, shiny, and virtually unmarked. Under a strong light some faint surface marks are visible, but there are no audible scratches. Some light crackles are audible between tracks, and during a couple of quiet passages, but these are never intrusive. The labels are clean, with no spindle marks.
Please be aware that the production is somewhat focussed on composer/guitarist Tony Hill. The group is tight, and well-rehearsed, but the recording balance, especially on Side 1, tends to feature him, and overshadow his fellow band members.
Finally, if you really are looking for sea shanties, please go elsewhere, you're gonna be mighty disappointed.
