HILTON VALENTINE “All In Your Head” top! 1970 Acid Pop Psych lp THE ANIMALS M-
1970/Canada/Capitol Records ST-330….. here’s a clean original pressing of this rare pop psych lp. The cover is in solid condition with a delete hole bottom right corner, bottom left corner is bumped and creased, the corners have light dings/wear, light ring wear on the front with moderate ring wear on the back, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits. The vinyl is in M- like new condition with only minor light inaudible storage stains. The record looks and plays clean with clean crisp fidelity. The labels are clean with no spindle marks. A very nice copy of this rare and really excellent over-looked lp. Please check my auctions for other psych, garage and rock lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!
Even many committed Animals fans don't know that the group's guitarist, Hilton Valentine, did an obscure 1970 album in which he stepped from the sideman shadow to sing and write his own material. But while fellow ex-Animal Alan Price had done this with considerable success, and Eric Burdon had launched a fairly successful solo career of sorts when he fronted a new version of the Animals (and later War), Valentine's LP was consigned to instant collector's item status.This lp is an excellent record full of introspective and beautiful psychedelic pop songs and some great guitar work.

GRADING
MINT: I consider New Unplayed or Sealed items only.
M- or Mint Minus, very clean with clean visual appearance and sound, there may be a couple of light inaudible hairline scuffs or such and will be mentioned in the listing, a Mint- record looks and plays very clean. Same for the cover. Very clean with no delete or other issues.
EXCELLENT: still very collectable for most, visually and sonicly clean. A handful of light inaudible scuffs, or hairlines. Cover will be clean with little wear, or delete. No splits.
VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal wear, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much. Cover will have slight shelf wear, and or delete, minor split.
VG+ the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects.
