Over the coming weeks I’ll be listing –roughly in order of release- a huge swathe of 7” singles & LPs from the legendary (in certain circles) Sarah Records label of Bristol. Most will have the original inserts (although a few may not). Most are in excellent condition. OK, here goes…
Up for auction here is The Sound Of The Hit Parade, the fourth LP from Julian Henry’s love-lorn three piece beat combo. Julian’s a pop genius. Included on this album is “House Of Sarah”, his paean to the garden flat from where Matt & Clare based their operation for so many years. “There’s no-one home at the house of Sarah” he trills. It’s a metaphor, I think.
Condition: cover has some minor creases along the spine, vinyl is problem-free. VG+/EX (cover/vinyl).
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. I am a long-time (25+ years!) record collector, and play-grade where possible. I don’t use stock photos: the item pictured here is the item for sale. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
