Donovan's very famous and very hard to get 1971 foldout double album of primarily children's songs, is one of the great examples of his precise, timely and inventively simple, yet ultimately unique fingerstyle guitar. It is also one of the great examples of visual art in album design, packaged in artist John "Patrick" Byrne's stunning Victorian-style artwork and also featuring a triple-album-length poster insert by Patrick, this beautiful set is in very good condition. As a former music journalist (I interviewed Donovan several times and watched him record with producer Mickey Most on a number of occasions) I have protected the album, since new, in my collection over the years. This LP taught me a clawhammer fingerstyle pattern I had never heard, just when I thought there couldn't be a new one...listen to Donovan's wonderful rendition of the classic "Henry Martin." No one had better timing and control than Donovan.

Original British pressing on Dawn Records, produced by Donovan (with one track aided by Mickie Most) in 1971 at Morgan Sound Studios in the London borough of Willsden, it contains 28 tracks.
