Description

A HMV ASD 261 G/c gold/cream 1st UK pressing of Tchaikovsky Symphony No 5 in E Minor. visually both sides appear in near mint condition. But having played both sides side 2 plays perfectly but side 1 has a low noise rotational tick that plays out after about a 3rd of the way through. At first because I could not see any marks or scratches I thought it may have been caused by dust or dirt in the grooves. After playing it again the tick was still there. Only under a magnifying glass could I see the finest scratch that started from the run in groove and continued across the vinyl. It is not audible in the louder parts of the piece, but admittedly it is annoying for its duration. This is the only scratch and without it I would easily grade it as near mint condition. But with it I would grade it as EXCELLENT condition. The outer sleeve is front laminated and in near mint condition. The inner sleeve is slightly creased and in excellent plus condition.I offer a 14 day refund service if not satisfied. Buyer pays return postage.
