Description

I am selling a  copy of Ida Haendel playing the Violin Concerto of Johannes Brahms. Sergio Celibidache conducting.

Found in my late fathers record collection.

UK Pressing HMV CLP 1032

I have listened to this record and although old with surface crackles the record does not jump or stick, so i would rate it as follows

Sleeve: VG+

Record: VG / VG- ( am being cautious )

I am happy to post abroad, contact me for prices.

Grade

Record

Label

NM

No visible surface marks and plays without any surface background noise

Crisp and clean with no creases / bends or discoloration

EX+

One or two very light surface marks, marks do not cause any problems and the record plays back without any surface background noise

Crisp and clean - may be one or two small creases and/or there may be a slight bit of discoloration which is common with age

EX

One or two light surface marks - there may be some occasional light surface background noise and/or one or two very light ticks during playback - still a great copy

Clean - maybe a few small creases and/or there will also be some mild discoloration due to the age

EX-

Few light surface marks - maybe some occasional light surface background noise and/or some occasional light ticks during playback - still a great copy

Clean - there will be a few creases and/or bends. There will probably be some discoloration and the edges of the jacket may be a little tatty - there could be some laminate lift or a small piece of laminate missing from the front of the jacket

VG+

Few surface marks - there will be some surface background noise and/or some occasional ticks during playback - still a very listenable and enjoyable record

Few creases and/or bends. There will be some discoloration and the edges of the jacket may be a little tatty with one or two small tears - there will probably be some laminate lift and/or some missing laminate

VG

Few surface marks - there will be some surface background noise and/or ticking during playback

Many creases and/or bends in the jacket. Discoloration and the tatty edges of the jacket with a few small tears - the laminate will probably be coming away or have a large section missing - a small piece of the jacket may be missing - e.g. part of the flipback

VG-

Many surface marks - there will be constant surface background noise and/or some consistent ticking during playback - the record could also have a small, but more serious mark that causes a small skip in the playback

Many creases and/or bends in the jacket. Discoloration and tatty edges with a few tears - the laminate will probably be coming away or have a very large section missing - a small to medium piece of the jacket may be missing

 - NM (very fine record with slight back-ground crackle sometimes; hardly any surface-noise; full clear sound of an excellent performance!
