Description
This is our first sale from a top of the market collection, comprising of just early stereo rarities on Decca HMV, UK Columbia & RCA. First labels issues in Near Mint condition to 99% of them, all described in detail with plenty of pictures. Includes many items rarely seen on ebay.
1980 First year pressing of Uk HMV ASD 4026/7/8/9 to the labels HMV SLS 5212 Mravinsky & the Leningrad Philharmonic Live at the Vienna Festival 4LP. They play the Shostakovich 5th, Schubert 8th Brahms 2nd and Tchaikovsky 5th Symphonies & Weber's Oberon Overture. Both DGG accounts of his Tchaikovsky are sublime, so here is even more of that greatness, an outstanding collection of major works from this giant amongst conductors.
All 4 recors have no spindle marks and playing surfaces free of marks Near Mint, in an excellent box with the original booklet, records not warped, labels are clean.
