Description

Up for auction is a super HMV table top gramophone, model 103 circa 1925.

I have got this item working

Case is a lovely deep mahogany

* The worse damage is the handles look replaced, one isn't attached and one is not tightly secured and spins in turned. *

With age has come light scratches and the handle to wind up the player looks grubby

This model has a brake & speed modulator and works just fine. The tone arm, sound box, needle cups and control  levers still have there nickel plating & are in great original condition. The sound box is a No 4 which is authentic for this gramaphone

With the lid closed the twin doors at the front of the cabinet can be opened so you get a great sound with less crackle.
